Ok, well for the longest time i have been using BT and files sharing programs like limewire and ares. Anyways recently i have been trying to get used to edonkey things but i have a few questions about that and the program i am using, the up to date version of emule.
Well first off, am i doing something wrong? Because the files simply wont download, instead they say waiting and there completion bars are of various different colours.
The KaD thing? What the heck is this? Since i am basically an idiot to this particular method of sharing files, i am somewhat confused so i chose the "bootstrap" option as is suggested in the manual.
I mean do any of you have any tips to help make this run a little faster? Because I have a cable modem and its a little wierd to see no progress after 2 days of "waiting" where as i would get circa 100k or greater with bit torrent. Mainly i am just wondering how this all works?
Thank you in advance for your reply/replies. |

- If in your progress bar, you have somes red blocks since few days, you can cancel your donwload : incompletes files
- The number of sources of one file is very importante for download ; under 10 sources, stop download
- The kad is peer2peer protocol without serveur; its very good to keep activate.
- on emule you must stay online all time; more time ; more connections ; more clients ; more download ; NEVER STOP EMULE
sorry for my english |
