Hello,
I've been extracting hundreds of movies with winrar already as you should know, however I just got hold of a new pr0n release by PORNOLATiON and it is impossible to extract with winrar (I have the latest version).
The filenames are named as follows: pl-pg7a.avi.001, 002, 003, etc.
Whenever I try to extract by opening the first file I get an error: "archive has unknown format or is damaged."
One thing I know for sure is that the files are not damaged, as I checked them with Quickpar (a nice utility to check if parts are broken). I guess the filenames are incorrect and it should be named something like pl-pg7a.avi.r01, r02, r03 etc.
Anyone can help?

| Try copying everything to another folder and then rename it as stated above. Might help. Also try the latest winzip as well. |

The filenames look like hjsplit\hjjoin filenames. Probably not the case as its a PORNOLATiON release, but it may be worth trying.

| Well I've tried everthing from changing the filenames to r01, r02 - deleting the .avi in the filename but winrar keeps telling me that the filenames are of an unknown format. I guess the files are screwed up somehow... thanks anyway. |

| maybe associate the filetype(s) .001 etc with winrar? I havent noticed anything with PORNOLATIONS packaging lately so its probably a problem at your end. Any specific releases youve had problems with might help narrow the problem. |

It's Phatty Girls 7 you are trying to extract, right?
I found a release of it, and it's packed as normal (i.e. .rar, .r00, r01...). Seems you got a repack of it that must be split in some other manner. |

| That's indeed the one H, nevermind, I guess it's been re-packed in the wrong way, I've deleted the archives. |
