Since this is an international board, I like to know how many members lives in the USA, the UK or other countries. So I've started this poll.
You can reply if you want, but it's not necessary. Just as long as you submit your vote. |

I'm sorry but you can only have a maximum numbers of options. I had more options, including Germany, France & Spain seperate, but had to delete them.
If Inari can change the limit of poll options, then I can restart this poll. |

I voted Germany and I aspect not to be in the minority here, right?

Wieso denn, Psycholarry? Laß' sie doch kommen.
Da wir eh' kaum Karten für die Spiele kriegen, machen wir eben unsere eigene WM im "Wohnwagen-Kegeln" oder "Anhänger-Bashing" auf.... |

I vote Germany only coz I currently have a contract there. But it's not permanet. And of course german isn't my mother tongue.
Actually the question should sound like "what is your native land?" |

Isnt it rather time you krauts learned to spek english instead? It always amazes me how many germans/french/italians etc who doesnt speak any language other than their own. Altho, since "you" guys doesnt seem to get to learn it in school, why not take the opportunity to get a second language togheter with your porn ;)
(No offense intended to any of the above mentioned nationalities) |

lol, English is probably the most spoken (non-native) language in the world (mostly due to globalization aka Microsoft taking over the world). Even if you go to Japan or Germany, you'll find the occasional person that can speak at least a small amount of English (although strangely enough, it seems to be the youth).
Americans rarely learn a foreign language, because visiting Germany or France, you'll always find someone (a waiter, anyone) that can speak English. |

At school I learned the following:
- learned to spek is wrong. Correctly, it has to be learn to speak
- who doesnt is also wrong. Correctly, it has to be who don't
- "you" guys doesnt as third is also wrong. Correctly it has to be you guys didn't
Although, it's been a long time way back from now, I think I learned my lessons well at school, don't you think?
I am a "kraut" but I don't feel offended by your posting. Ich find's lustig! |

lol
Us Dutchies always surprise foreigners with our ability to speak English. Nearly every Dutchman/woman can at least speak and understand it a little. And do you know why that is? It's not because we have a superior educational system. No, rather it's the simple fact that we SUBTITLE our movies and TV-series, instead of DUBBING them. Believe me, you can't help but learn a language if you hear it on a daily basis and read the translation right along with it.
If they want to overcome language barriers in the EU over time, they really should BAN dubbing... ;) |

Hi, I'm from switzerland.
Funny thing about the swiss-german language is,
We understand the germans and can talk with them (even if it sounds weird when we talk german..)
But they don't understand us if we speak swiss-german (very funny on vacation)
@ActionJacksonmrgreen:
Nice, here in Switzerland we Subtitle our Movies too. Nothing's worser than watching a movie dubbed. |

I did not realize that, I have met quite a lot of great Dutch people and they all knew English. Seems like every Swede I met knew English as well, and without much accent.
From USA, Alabama, too close to where the hurricane just hit. |
