Hi
I just wanted to ask what everyones opinions were on the new advertisements placed on the site? Are they appealing to the user base, annoying, something you would want to click on or buy a link through?
Share your thoughts. :) |

| I don't mind them as long as there is no pop-up. I hate unneccesary pop-ups. |

I encourage everyone to check out Adbrite if they're interested in advertising on this site. The webmaster has set the prices very reasonably and it's a great way to advertise. You can also use Adbrite/AVN on your site (if you run one). It's a great way to make money, and its one of the few advertisers that allows adult content.
Hopefully there will be some more ads going up soon tailored to the ppl on this board. I'll probably be posting some free offers for stuff soon, so if anyone has any suggestions or comments let me know. |

The Ads I see here at the moment are small and unobtrusive. As long as this remains the case they wont bother me.
If they do start to bother me I'll just block them. |

| I don't mind the ads, like everyone else just glad they are not popups. Whatever pays the bills, I even try to remember to actually click on them from time to time. I have a website of my own and know what it is like trying to keep it free for the users. |

There should not be any popups directly from this site, ever. If anyone sees any popups/unders from clicking on any of the ads, or trying to install scripts or anything strange, please let me or Inarivachs know (along with which ad it was). But, it definintely should not do that ever. I've tried to make the ads oriented to the members of the forum, so hopefully they might actually be something people would be interested in. If anyone has any other feedback/comments/suggestions, feel free to post it. |

| Let's hope with the advertising, we don't end up as bad as Shareprovider. |

The only thing I see when I visit SP is the mobile ringtones/pics, although I did see the main page try and popup on me. I hate ugly banners, popups, spyware, ad that overtake your screen, and things like that so I personnally wouldn't ever put up stuff like that. I tried to keep the banners small, and use a lot of easy to read text ads that are relevant to the readers. |

| These ads seem to be o.k. If they help with the bandwidth cost; that is good. I don't know how often I would click on the ads, though. |
