| I noticed in the last few months that I can not upload at home as fast as I used to but my ISP did not confirm this so far , so I was wondering if any of you had this problem ? Also did any of you notice a difference when using Emule with the encryption turned on like with Neomule for example ? |

Well some versions of Emule will make the data look different than p2p data so the ISP won't shape or lower its speed so you can have good speeds on Emule. |

i changed ISP a few month ago (i think i was using 47c back then) and couldnt connect to any server.
then i found the "protocol obfuscation" option and with it enabled i am able to connect and use emule.
i still get low ID but i guess its better than nothing. |

If your using a router you have to forward the port numbers. Not sure if you know that or not. And I think you can do the same with your modem from your isp, I had to once. Hope that helps with low id. :) |

infidel, i did that, using the emule FAQ, i then discoverethat there might be a proxy sever between my PC and the "backbone"
at least thats what IP2Location says.
Code:

Net Speed : COMP
You're using proxy server in
Proxy IP Address : 194.126.xxx.xxx
