| hello, ive downloaded a couple of asian films and apparently i need vlc player to watch them! what can i use to convert them? as i have a standalone dvd/divx player and would rather watch them on there. |

| Use GSpot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/index.html It will tell you what codecs you have and what codec the movie needs. Then you can use something like VirtualDub to re-encode it. |

| For a start if he already downloaded it would it not be in a divx format any way? So why not burn it to a cd or dvd disc and play it on the dvd/divx player.... or have u tried that already? |
