This can encompass a lot, and a lot of genres didn't exist then, or ones that existed then no longer exist.
I like Traci Lords and Ginger, but the thign I like best about vintage is the nature of the women, which was natural, now every one is shaved and plastic. However, I despise that cheesy plotted shit, that was so rampant, and what causes me to vote Modern is the fact that Tranny Porn was not big yet, and really has only become popular thanks to Joey Silvera and Rogue Adventures.

I know someone is bound to ask WTF 1990, but this is about the time the industry shifted, and the modern era, came in just before the greatest invention ever, the internet. | I'm all for modern porn. There are a couple of old vids that I like, but generally speaking I prefer the newer stuff not only for the reasons above, but also for the production quality. |

| Definitely modern. Vintage porn usually has hairy pussies, and sorry, but I find that totally disgusting. Besides that, the video quality has ofcourse increased exponentially, especially with the arrival of DVD's. And nowadays most porn movies don't kid themselves about what they are: wank-flicks. They mostly just show the sex scenes without trying to weave it all together in some cheesy story, like most vintage porn. Plus I find most of the modern day actresses more attractive physically (not like those hippies of the 70's, or the badly dressed skanks of the 80's). |

You'd have to compare the classic movies with today's movies by Vivid. There's no doubt that I prefer those 80s movies before condom-based plot movies of today. That's because the actresses of today are too much alike with bleeched hair and silicone all over. What is wrong with being natural? Not all have to look like a bimbo.
The gonzo videos that comes out today is really a different category and can't be compared to what was before.
That's because nearly all features that came out in the 80s had some plot, not just wall-to-wall sex.
But, as said before, the transsexual category has really had a boost in recent years. And that could of course be enough to prefer modern era. |

It just has to be modern porn. As now adays all subjects are covrered even if you find them sick and repulsive.
As the quality and clarity of the films these are far superior. A lot of the women need to avoid looking all the smae I think and just be natural. Shaved pussies are far better than a hairy pussy but ever one is different.
The older films and pictures I think were more daring in the main stream of porn with fisting and pissing but this has now become an extreme fetish and is excluded from modern films except specialist films.
We all like porno but the clssic films have to much music in them and can be funny when looked back on now. |
