|
|
Hi all,
I'd like to know if there is a way to make Firefox not to register some URL (pornlinkpro.com, jadedvideo.com,...) in his history ?
I know that we are able to clean the history, but at the same time I lost some URL I'd like to keep.
So is it possible to make a selective clean ?
Thanks |

The answer is here : http://www.mydigitallife.info/2006/10/19/remove-and-delete-some-url-entries-from-address-bar-history-of-firefox-and-internet-explorer/
Quote: FireFox Address Bar Typed URLs History Removal Guide
Pull down the address bar typed URLs history list, use cursor or mouse to point the URL or link that you want to delete, and then press SHIFT-DELETE keys (pressing SHIFT and DELETE keys simulatenously). The URL or link will be removed from the address bar history. |

I an not sure if you are looking to always keep this fomr your history or just do a clean every now and again.
I use crapcleaner, despite the name a long standing proggrame widely used and recognised in the industry. It can be configured to clean everythign from history of internet including IE, FIrefox, Opera etc auto type history, search history, recently opend documents, cookies etc etc. You can pick and choose.

Hope this might be of help to you or anyone even if general use.
Cheers.....Q |
