Anyone know of a decent Video Editing Software package thats simple to use, so I can chop some of these nice files I have? I'm wanting to crop scenes and make my own compilation up. I have a few progs already, but they're all complex things, I need something straight forward and easy.
Thx. :) |

Well, the 'standard' programs used for cutting files would be VirtualDubMod for AVIs, TMPGEnc (either Plus or the MPEG Editor) for mpegs, RealMedia Editor for Real files, and QuickTime Pro for QuickTime. These are all pretty reliable, in terms of producing valid files, with no audio sync problems, etc.
If you're planning on combining clips from different sources and re-encoding though, you might want a more complete video editing suite. I personally use Sony Vegas for my DV editing, which isn't too hard to learn and can do most things. |

| Thanks for the input dude. Just got me Avid Liquid, seems to do the job just fine, although Nero 7's video editor is a little less complex. Cheers all the same. :) |
