| How to fix the sound problems of a avi when i go to virtual dub it says this:VBR audio stream detected. I Hope you can help me here a pic of the problem |

Depending what you're doing with the file, you may not need to do anything, just click "No" you don't want to rewrite the header, e.g. if you're (re)compressing a file in direct stream copy mode that will often work fine. There's nothing actually wrong with the file, just virtualdub don't like processing VBR audio.
But if you're actually doing some processing on the file, try virtualdub mp3 freeze, that mod works with VBR mp3 streams. Or you can do what the dialog suggests, save the audio as an uncompressed wav, and use that as a new audio stream. |
